La Voli\u00e8re est s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9e pour la troisi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e au projet de r\u00e9sidence mis en place par Culture Moves Europe qui aura lieu\u00a0du 14 octobre au 12 d\u00e9cembre 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ON THE LINE est une r\u00e9sidence collaborative qui explore le concept de \u00ab robustesse \u00bb dans le domaine du cirque a\u00e9rien. Situ\u00e9e \u00e0 Saint-Nazaire, une ville industrielle p\u00e9riph\u00e9rique, le projet invite cinq artistes de cirque\/a\u00e9riens \u00e0 mener une recherche sur l\u2019\u00e9quilibre dans des environnements instables, en transformant l\u2019erreur et la contrainte en ressources cr\u00e9atives. Plut\u00f4t que de c\u00e9l\u00e9brer la performance parfaite, nous cherchons \u00e0 explorer l\u2019instabilit\u00e9, l\u2019adaptation et la coop\u00e9ration.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les participant\u00b7e\u00b7s prennent part \u00e0 une cr\u00e9ation collective et \u00e0 des laboratoires immersifs, en exp\u00e9rimentant des formats hybrides de contre-performance o\u00f9 le public est invit\u00e9 \u00e0 intervenir et \u00e0 fa\u00e7onner le processus. La r\u00e9sidence comprend des ateliers entre pairs, un accompagnement par l\u2019\u00e9quipe artistique de La Voli\u00e8re, ainsi que des sessions collaboratives pour explorer l\u2019adaptation, la coop\u00e9ration et la transformation.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

La r\u00e9sidence se conclut par un \u00e9v\u00e9nement participatif au cours duquel le public contribue \u00e0 une performance \u00e9volutive de cirque a\u00e9rien, refl\u00e9tant la mission de La Voli\u00e8re : encourager la recherche artistique, l\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation et les pratiques culturelles participatives.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ON THE LINE \u2014 Collaborative Residency<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the third consecutive year, La Voli\u00e8re has been selected for the residency programme established by Culture Moves Europe, taking place from October 14 to December 12, 2026.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ON THE LINE is a collaborative residency exploring the concept of \u201crobustness\u201d within the field of aerial circus. Based in Saint-Nazaire, a peripheral industrial city, the project invites five circus and aerial artists to conduct research into balance in unstable environments, transforming error and constraint into creative resources. Rather than celebrating perfect performance, we seek to explore instability, adaptation, and cooperation.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants take part in a collective creation process and immersive laboratories, experimenting with hybrid forms of counter-performance in which the audience is invited to intervene and shape the process. The residency includes peer-to-peer workshops, support and guidance from La Voli\u00e8re\u2019s artistic team, as well as collaborative sessions exploring adaptation, cooperation, and transformation.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The residency concludes with a participatory event in which the audience contributes to an evolving aerial circus performance, reflecting La Voli\u00e8re\u2019s mission: to encourage artistic research, experimentation, and participatory cultural practices.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As with previous editions, we will select five artists based in Europe.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
